Waso Cafe in **Kwun Tong** is a **Hong Kong-style cha chaan teng / café** known for classic local comfort food with a few signature twists, especially the **pineapple bun stuffed with tomato and egg** and related bun-and-sandwich items.[5][10][16] The Kwun Tong branch is at **Shop 1, G/F, King Palace Plaza, 55 King Yip Street**, in the **Kwun Tong** district near the MTR station, so it sits in a busy urban neighbourhood rather than a residential or tourist area.[1][5] On cuisine, the clearest descriptions say it serves **Hong Kong-style** food and cha chaan teng staples, with items such as **tomato-and-egg pineapple bun**, **tomato noodle soup with chicken wings**, **satay beef noodles**, and **pork chop laksa / mixian-style noodles**.[1][5][16] One Tripadvisor listing labels it more broadly as **“Street Food, Central Asian,”** but that looks less precise than the Hong Kong tourism and OpenRice descriptions, which consistently frame it as a **Hong Kong café / cha chaan teng**.[2][5][19] On reservations, I **don’t see reliable evidence that this Kwun Tong branch takes reservations** in the search results provided. The listings shown include address, opening hours, and menu information, but none explicitly mention reservations or table booking.[1][3][5][20]
