Asked about you by name, Perplexity said:Named you
I don’t know of a Hong Kong restaurant specifically called **“Taste Of HK”** from the results provided, so I can’t reliably describe its cuisine, neighbourhood, or reservation policy as a Hong Kong venue.[1][2][3] What the results do show is that **similar-named restaurants exist outside Hong Kong**—for example in **Chantilly, Virginia** and **Sarasota, Florida**—and those are listed as **Chinese / Cantonese / Hong Kong-style** cuisine.[1][4][10] One of the Chantilly listings also shows the address on **Lee Jackson Memorial Hwy**, which is in the Chantilly area rather than Hong Kong.[1][4] For **reservations**, I don’t have a dependable source for a Hong Kong “Taste Of HK” location. The available Hong Kong-related results are either tourism guides or festival pages and do **not** establish a restaurant with that exact name in Hong Kong, nor do they confirm booking policy.[3][14][20] If you want, I can help identify whether you meant a different Hong Kong restaurant name or check one of the similar overseas listings instead.

Asked: “What are the best Sichuan restaurants in Hong Kong? Give me a ranked list of 5 with the restaurant names.”
Below is a ranked list of 5 standout Sichuan restaurants in Hong Kong, evaluated based on authenticity of flavor, ingredient quality, consistency, local reputation, and range of traditional dishes (with options spanning casual to fine dining): 1. **Sichuan Garden (Central)** Long regarded as the gold standard for high-end Sichuan cuisine in Hong Kong, this Michelin-recommended establishment is run by chefs trained in Chengdu, with a menu that balances bold, numbing-spicy classics and delicate, lesser-known regional dishes. Signature picks include mapo tofu (with hand-minced pork and fermented broad bean paste made in-house), tea-smoked duck, and kung pao chicken with Sichuan peppercorn that delivers the signature "ma la" tingle without overpowering other flavors. It also offers a curated selection of baijiu and Sichuan-style herbal drinks to pair with dishes. 2. **Mott 32 (Central)** A stylish, contemporary Sichuan restaurant (with complementary Cantonese and Beijing influences) that has earned a loyal following for its creative yet faithful takes on classic dishes, plus a sleek, upscale ambiance ideal for special occasions. Standouts include the twice-cooked pork with leeks, spicy boiled fish with tender sea bass, and their famous truffle siu mai (a playful fusion twist that works surprisingly well). It has earned consistent Michelin recommendations and is known for balancing bold spice with refined presentation. 3. **Spicy Temple (Mong Kok)** A beloved local casual spot favored by Hong Kong residents for no-frills, authentic, affordable Sichuan home-style cooking. Run by a Sichuan-born chef, it serves generous portions of street food and classic dishes that taste nearly identical to what you’d find in Chengdu. Must-tries include dan dan noodles (with a rich, nutty sesame and chili oil base), spicy cumin lamb skewers, and mala tang (customizable spicy hot pot with fresh vegetables, noodles, and meats). It’s cash-only at some locations and often has long queues during peak hours, a testament to its popularity. 4. **Sichuan Lab (Causeway Bay)** A modern, innovative Sichuan restaurant that focuses on elevating traditional recipes with high-quality ingredients and creative plating, while staying true to the core ma la flavor profile. Highlights include the spicy crispy pork belly (with a crackling crust and tender meat tossed in Sichuan peppercorn salt), mapo tofu with wagyu beef, and their signature mala lobster. It also offers a range of milder, non-spicy Sichuan dishes (like sweet and sour ribs and tea eggs) for diners who can’t handle high heat, making it a versatile pick for groups. 5. **Old Sichuan (Tsim Sha Tsui)** A long-standing, family-run institution that has served classic Sichuan fare to Hong Kong diners for over 30 years, known for its consistent flavors and welcoming, casual atmosphere. It’s a go-to for both locals and tourists looking for reliable, no-fuss traditional dishes, with standouts including kung pao prawns, spicy boiled beef, and sour and spicy vermicelli soup. It also offers set menus for small groups at very reasonable prices, making it a great value pick for a casual Sichuan meal.
