Asked about you by name, Perplexity said:Named you
I don’t know a single definitive “Supreme Restaurant” in Hong Kong, because the name matches more than one listing. The most clearly documented one in the search results is **Supreme Restaurant (Chong Hing Square)** in **Mong Kok**, which is listed as **Chinese** cuisine on Tripadvisor and OpenRice.[1][2] For that Mong Kok branch, the neighbourhood is **Mong Kok** on **Nathan Road / 601 Nathan Road, Chong Hing Square**, which places it in a dense, central Kowloon shopping-and-eating area.[1][2] On reservations, the sources I found do **not clearly state** a reservation policy for Supreme Restaurant (Chong Hing Square).[1][2] If you meant a different “Supreme Restaurant” in Hong Kong, I’d need the address or Chinese name to identify it reliably.

Hong Kong has a vibrant hot pot scene with diverse options ranging from traditional Cantonese styles to innovative fusion and premium imported ingredients. Below is a ranked list of 5 standout hot pot restaurants, evaluated based on food quality, popularity, local reputation, menu variety, and overall dining experience: 1. **Mott 32 (Central)** A luxury contemporary Chinese restaurant famous for its elevated hot pot service (available for private bookings and seasonal specials) alongside its signature dim sum and roast meats. Its hot pot menu features premium broths like slow-cooked fish maw with chicken and Sichuan mala, paired with top-tier ingredients including A5 Wagyu beef, fresh abalone, and hand-made prawn paste. The sleek, 1920s Shanghai-inspired decor and impeccable service make it a go-to for special occasions. 2. **Ha Di Lao Hot Pot (Multiple Locations: Tsim Sha Tsui, Mong Kok, Causeway Bay)** The iconic mainland Chinese chain’s Hong Kong outposts are consistently crowded for their reliable quality, extensive menu, and legendary customer service (think free hand massages, nail art, and snacks while you wait). Standouts include the customizable four-flavor pot (try the tomato broth, spicy mala, and mushroom broth), hand-pulled noodles made tableside, and fresh seafood options. It’s a family-friendly, casual favorite for all ages. 3. **Yung Kee Hot Pot (Central)** A spin-off of Hong Kong’s century-old Yung Kee Restaurant (famous for roast goose), this hot pot spot leans into traditional Cantonese flavors. Its signature broth is the silky, slow-simmered chicken and pork bone base, and it’s renowned for its high-quality local ingredients: fresh hand-cut beef, homemade fish balls, roast goose slices to add to the pot, and seasonal vegetables from local farms. The no-frills, authentic vibe appeals to long-time local hot pot lovers. 4. **The Drunken Pot (Multiple Locations: Wan Chai, Tsim Sha Tsui)** A trendy local favorite known for its creative, alcohol-infused broths that set it apart from traditional spots. Popular options include the Taiwanese rice wine chicken broth, Japanese sake and seafood broth, and the spicy Sichuan mala with rice wine. The menu also features innovative fusion items like truffle prawn paste, cheese-stuffed beef rolls, and matcha lava balls for dessert. It’s a hit with young diners and groups for its fun, casual atmosphere. 5. **Little Sheep Hot Pot (Multiple Locations: Mong Kok, Causeway Bay)** A classic Mongolian-style hot pot chain that has been a staple in Hong Kong for decades. Its signature "simmered without dipping" broth is infused with 30+ Chinese herbs and spices, so ingredients are flavorful on their own (though dipping sauces are still available). It’s especially known for its tender, thinly sliced lamb and beef, as well as affordable set menus that make it a great value for casual meals. Note that availability and operating hours may vary, so it’s recommended to book in advance for popular spots, especially on weekends and holidays.
