I don’t know of a **Hong Kong** restaurant named **Maki Ramen** from the results provided, so I can’t reliably describe its neighbourhood or reservation policy in Hong Kong.[8][10][17][20] The results do show **Maki & Ramen** as a **Japanese** restaurant brand, but the sources available here place its locations in the **UK** (for example, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Manchester, and Leeds), not Hong Kong.[17][20] Its cuisine is Japanese, with a menu centered on **ramen**—including styles like **miso** and **tonkotsu**—and also sushi items such as maki, nigiri, and sashimi.[5][17] Because I can’t verify a Hong Kong branch from the evidence here, I also can’t confirm whether it **takes reservations** in Hong Kong.[17][20] If you want, I can help look for a different name or a specific Hong Kong branch spelling.

Here is a ranked list of the 5 best ramen restaurants in Hong Kong, based on local popularity, soup depth, and noodle quality: ### 1. Maru De Sankaku (Tai Hang / Central) * **Specialty:** Sea Bream (Tai) Broth Ramen * **Why it’s the best:** Created by the same group behind Tokyo's Michelin-starred Mensho, this shop diverges from the usual pork-heavy broths. The signature broth is made by simmering an immense quantity of fresh sea bream, yielding an umami-rich, aromatic, and surprisingly light soup. It offers one of the most refined and unique ramen experiences in the city. ### 2. Zun Ramen (Causeway Bay) * **Specialty:** Rich Tonkotsu & Tsukemen * **Why it’s ranked here:** A perennial favorite among local ramen purists, Zun consistently commands long queues in Causeway Bay. Their pork bone broth is thick, gelatinous, and full of collagen without tasting overly greasy. Their char siu is exceptionally tender, and the dipping noodles (tsukemen) have the perfect chewy texture. ### 3. Kanada-Ya (Causeway Bay) * **Specialty:** Frothy Truffle Tonkotsu Ramen * **Why it’s ranked here:** Originally from Fukuoka and widely celebrated in London, Kanada-Ya's Hong Kong outpost lives up to the global hype. They are famous for their "cappuccino-like" frothy pork broth, which is simmered for 18 hours. The Black Truffle ramen, in particular, is an intensely flavorful, rich indulgence. ### 4. Shugetsu (Central / Quarry Bay) * **Specialty:** Tsukemen & Shoyu Ramen (Michelin Bib Gourmand) * **Why it’s ranked here:** A regular fixture in the Michelin Guide’s Bib Gourmand section, Shugetsu is renowned for its fresh noodles made in-house daily. The dipping broth uses an artisanal, 18-month naturally fermented soy sauce, balanced with a distinct tang from vinegar and fish powder. ### 5. Torishou (Central / Wan Chai) * **Specialty:** Tori Paitan (Rich Chicken Broth) * **Why it’s ranked here:** For those who prefer poultry over pork, Torishou offers the best Tori Paitan in the city. The chicken broth is cooked down until it becomes thick, creamy, and golden-yellow. Paired with tender sous-vide chicken breast and springy noodles, it is intensely savory and comforting.

Where Bistrochat fits
Bistrochat gives a restaurant one booking engine everywhere a guest looks — the Reserve button on Google, a widget on your site, a link in your Instagram bio, WhatsApp — with the guest data staying yours. It's used by 650+ venues across Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Cambodia, the Philippines and India, from single-site bistros to hotel groups like Fullerton, Novotel and The Hari.
