I appreciate the question, but I should be honest: I don't have current real-time information about which dessert restaurants are open in Hung Hom tonight or their current operating status. Restaurant locations and hours change frequently. For the most accurate and up-to-date recommendations, I'd suggest: - **Google Maps** - search "dessert near me" or "甜品店" in Hung Hom - **OpenRice** - Hong Kong's main restaurant review platform - **Yelp or TripAdvisor** - to check reviews and current hours This will give you real-time information about what's actually open nearby right now.

Below is a ranked list of 5 standout dessert restaurants, selected based on local acclaim, awards, menu uniqueness, and consistent quality: 1. **Mango Tree Kitchen Dessert** The highest-rated dessert specialist in Hong Kong, with multiple locations across the city (including Tsim Sha Tsui and Mong Kok). It is famous for its ultra-fresh, fruit-forward desserts, particularly its signature mango pomelo sago (a beloved Cantonese classic elevated with ripe Thai mangoes, chewy sago pearls, and tangy pomelo pulp). The menu also features creative twists like mango glutinous rice with coconut ice cream and durian-themed desserts, all made with no artificial additives. It is a local favorite for its generous portions, affordable pricing, and consistent quality. 2. **Yee Shun Milk Company** A legendary Hong Kong institution with a history dating back to the 1980s, with its iconic original shop in Jordan. It is renowned for its silky steamed milk pudding (dau fu fa-style but made with fresh cow’s milk), which has a delicate, jiggly texture and a subtle, natural sweetness. Other must-tries include ginger milk curd (made with fresh ginger juice that sets the milk to a perfect custard consistency) and red bean paired with steamed milk. The no-frills, retro diner vibe adds to its charm, and it is a must-visit for anyone wanting to experience classic Hong Kong dessert culture. 3. **Sift Desserts** A Michelin-recommended artisanal dessert bar with locations in Central and Causeway Bay, known for its elegant East-West fusion creations. The venue has a sleek, intimate atmosphere, making it ideal for date nights or special occasions, and all desserts are made with high-quality imported and local ingredients. 4. **Honeymoon Dessert** One of Hong Kong’s most beloved modern dessert chains, with dozens of locations across the city, credited with popularizing creative Cantonese-style dessert fusions. It is famous for its signature mango glutinous rice, black sesame soup with glutinous rice balls, and durian mousse, as well as innovative offerings like tofu pudding with fresh fruit and sago.
