Green Wood Garden Court Restaurant is a **Chinese/Cantonese** restaurant that also appears to serve **dim sum** and other Asian-style dishes.[1][2] The branch in your results is in **Causeway Bay**, at Fashion Walk in the Wan Chai / Causeway Bay area.[2][9] It **does take reservations**: OpenRice shows the restaurant listing and contact details for the Fashion Walk branch, and Hang Lung Malls lists the same location and phone number, which indicates it is a full-service restaurant rather than a purely walk-in eatery.[2][9] I do not see an explicit “reservations accepted” field in the results, so that part is inferred from the type of listing rather than directly stated.[2][9] If you meant a different branch of Green Wood Garden Court Restaurant, say which one and I can narrow it down.

I appreciate the request, but I should be honest that I don't have current, real-time information about which specific Cantonese restaurants are open in Causeway Bay tonight or their current operating status. I'd recommend: - Checking Google Maps or OpenRice (Hong Kong's main restaurant app) for up-to-date listings, hours, and availability - Asking your hotel concierge for current recommendations - Looking at recent reviews to ensure places are still operating This will give you accurate, current information rather than my potentially outdated suggestions.

Hong Kong’s Cantonese restaurant scene is incredibly diverse, ranging from decades-old family-run dai pai dongs to Michelin-starred fine dining institutions. The below ranked list balances culinary heritage, ingredient quality, iconic status, and local community recognition, not just accolades: 1. **Tim Ho Wan (Sham Shui Po Original Branch)** Founded by former Lung King Heen dim sum chef Mak Kwai-pui, this tiny, no-frills shop invented the globally famous baked BBQ pork bun (char siu bao) with a flaky, buttery crust and sweet-savory filling. It is the most accessible Michelin-starred Cantonese restaurant in Hong Kong, and the original Sham Shui Po location retains the authentic, hand-made dim sum quality that made it a household name, with far shorter wait times than its tourist-heavy Tsim Sha Tsui outposts. 2. **Lung King Heen (Central, Four Seasons Hotel)** The first Cantonese restaurant in the world to earn three Michelin stars, it has held the honor for over 15 consecutive years. Helmed by chef Chan Yan-tak, it is renowned for its refined take on classic Cantonese dishes, including its signature crispy roasted suckling pig, braised abalone with dried scallop, and har gow (shrimp dumplings) with perfectly translucent, hand-folded wrappers. Its waterfront views of Victoria Harbour make it a benchmark for high-end Cantonese fine dining. 3. **Lin Heung Tea House (Central)** A 100-year-old institution that preserves the old-school "yum cha" experience almost unchanged from the mid-20th century. It still uses traditional push-cart dim sum service, where servers wheel trays of freshly steamed dishes through the dining room for patrons to pick from. Signature items include lotus seed paste bun, siu mai with pork and shrimp, and stewed beef brisket in clear broth, and it remains a favorite among local elders and food lovers seeking a nostalgic Cantonese tea house vibe. 4. **Sun Hing Restaurant (Kennedy Town)** A beloved neighborhood dim sum spot famous for its 3am opening time, catering to night shift workers, early risers, and late-night diners. It is run by a local family, and all dim sum is made fresh in-house daily. Its standout dishes include the fluffy, golden egg yolk lava bun, crispy fried taro dumplings, and steamed pork ribs with black bean sauce. It has no reservations, and the small, cozy space is almost always packed with locals. 5. **Forum Restaurant (Causeway Bay)** A legendary Cantonese restaurant founded in 1977, best known for its iconic Ah Yat abalone, which is slow-braised for days in a secret broth of dried scallops, chicken, and ham. It has held one Michelin star for years, and is a go-to spot for family banquets, business dinners, and special occasions among local Hong Kongers. Its menu also features classic Cantonese roasted meats and seasonal seafood, all prepared with strict adherence to traditional cooking techniques. Note that this list reflects a mix of price points and dining styles; Hong Kong’s best Cantonese food is not limited to fine dining, and many of the most beloved spots are casual, family-run establishments.

Good tasting dishes at reasonable prices. Was lucky to get a walk in seat as it got pretty packed on a Tuesday evening. The specials and sets are well priced and dishes are cooked nicely. Staff were pleasant and food arrived at a pleasant pace. Favorited for future visits.
食物大份,唔算貴 燒鵝正正常常 可惜炒小菜味道偏鹹 員工服務態度好 不過餐廳入面回音勁,客人談話聲浪比較嘈
味道水準不差,性價比高
