**Fullhouse Seafood Chinese Restaurant** in Hong Kong is a **Cantonese seafood restaurant** in **Hung Hom / Whampoa Garden** on the Kowloon side of Hong Kong. Its own site says it specializes in Cantonese cuisine, especially seafood, and also serves dim sum and barbecue dishes.[1][5] It is located at **Shop 6 & 7, Nine Seafood Place / Meta Place, The Whampoa, Hung Hom**.[1][2][4][5] That places it in a **residential-commercial neighbourhood** around Whampoa Garden and the Whampoa MTR area, rather than a central tourist district.[1][4][10] It **does take reservations**: the restaurant site lists a reservation phone number, and Time Out specifically advises guests to reserve ahead for certain dishes.[1][3] OpenRice, however, notes that its **online booking service is not available**, so reservations appear to be handled by phone/WhatsApp rather than through an online system.[4] If you want, I can also give you a quick sense of its **price level**, **signature dishes**, or **how to get there by MTR**.

What aspect of Cantonese cuisine interests you most—dim sum, seafood, or casual dining?

I don't have reliable real-time information about current restaurants in Whampoa. Restaurant situations change frequently due to closures, relocations, and new openings. I'd recommend checking: - **Google Maps** (search "Cantonese restaurants near Whampoa") - **OpenRice** (Hong Kong's main restaurant review site) - **Yelp** or **TripAdvisor** These will show you current options, reviews, hours, and whether they're open tonight.

# Top 5 Cantonese Restaurants in Hong Kong 1. **Lung King Heen** – Located in the Four Seasons Hotel, this was the first Cantonese restaurant in the world to earn three Michelin stars. Famous for its dim sum and seafood dishes with stunning harbour views. 2. **Caprice** (Four Seasons Hotel) – A three-Michelin-starred French-influenced fine dining venue, though for a more traditional counterpart: **Yan Toh Heen** at the InterContinental (now Regent) is renowned for exquisite Cantonese cuisine and exceptional service. 3. **The Chairman** – A Michelin-starred favorite known for its farm-to-table approach and signature dishes like soy sauce chicken and steamed crab with aged Shaoxing wine. 4. **Lung Jin Zen / Tin Lung Heen** (Ritz-Carlton) – Elegant Cantonese dining on the 102nd floor with dramatic skyline views; celebrated for its barbecued meats and dim sum. 5. **Mak's Noodle** (Mak Un Kee) – A more casual but legendary institution, famous for its wonton noodles made the traditional Cantonese way with alkaline egg noodles. A few notes: Michelin listings and chef lineups change, so I'd recommend checking recent reviews on OpenTable or the Michelin Guide before visiting. Reservations at the fine-dining spots (especially #1 and #2) should be made well in advance. Would you like recommendations for a specific budget or neighborhood?

Hong Kong’s Cantonese dining scene is world-class, spanning century-old traditional spots to modern Michelin-starred innovators. Below is a ranked list of 5 standout restaurants, evaluated on food authenticity, craftsmanship, cultural significance, and overall experience: 1. **Tim Ho Wan (Sham Shui Po Original Branch)** Founded by former Lung King Heen dim sum chef Mak Kwai-pui, this humble 20-seat eatery invented the affordable Michelin-starred dim sum concept (it held 1 star from 2009 to 2015, and remains a local icon). Its signature baked BBQ pork buns (flaky, sweet-savory, with molten filling) and steamed rice rolls with shrimp are unmatched for their price point and craftsmanship. It is the gold standard for no-frills, high-quality Cantonese dim sum, beloved by locals and visitors alike. 2. **Lung King Heen** Perched on the 4th floor of the Four Seasons Hong Kong, this 3-Michelin-starred restaurant is the benchmark for luxury Cantonese fine dining. Helmed by chef Chan Yan-tak, it masterfully elevates classic dishes: its braised abalone with dried scallop, roasted crispy suckling pig, and har gow (shrimp dumplings) with 12 delicate pleats are legendary. It also boasts one of the city’s best Chinese wine lists and panoramic Victoria Harbour views, making it a top choice for special occasions. 3. **Yat Lok Restaurant** A 50-year-old Central institution famous for its roast goose, Yat Lok holds 1 Michelin star and is a pilgrimage site for Cantonese roast meat lovers. Its goose is marinated in a secret blend of herbs, air-dried to perfection, and roasted to a crisp, shattery skin with juicy, flavorful meat, served with a side of tangy plum sauce. The no-frills, retro diner also excels at other classic roast meats, including char siu (BBQ pork) and roast duck, and is a staple for local office workers and food connoisseurs. 4. **Mott 32** A modern Cantonese restaurant in Central (named after New York’s Mott Street, the heart of the first Chinese diaspora community in the US), Mott 32 reimagines traditional Cantonese flavors with creative, high-quality ingredients. Its signature dishes include apple wood-roasted char siu, smoked black cod with honey, and truffle siu mai. The sleek, industrial-chic decor (designed by Joyce Wang) and innovative cocktails make it a popular spot for stylish diners, and it has earned 1 Michelin star for its consistent, creative take on Cantonese cuisine. 5. **Lin Heung Tea House** A 100-year-old Sheung Wan institution, Lin Heung is the best preserved example of old-school Cantonese dim sum culture. It retains traditional practices: dim sum is served from stacked metal carts pushed by servers, tea is brewed in vintage teapots, and the menu features rare classic dishes not found at most modern dim sum spots, such as steamed pork dumplings with shrimp and chives, and lotus seed paste buns. It is a cultural landmark as much as a restaurant, offering a taste of Hong Kong’s mid-20th century tea house experience.
