**Boat Thai** appears to be a Thai restaurant in **Tsim Sha Tsui**, on **Nathan Road inside iSQUARE** in Kowloon.[1] I don’t see a reliable source in the results that clearly states whether it **takes reservations**, so I can’t confirm that from the available evidence.[1][11] What I can say about the restaurant’s **cuisine** is that the name and the surrounding Hong Kong coverage strongly suggest a focus on **Thai food**, especially **boat noodle–style dishes** and related Thai classics.[4][9][14] In Hong Kong, boat noodles are typically described as a small-bowl Thai noodle dish with a **dark, rich broth**, meat, herbs, and often ingredients like **pig’s blood**, **meatballs**, **crispy pork cracklings**, and **rice or egg noodles**.[4][9][14] For the **neighbourhood**, it is in **Tsim Sha Tsui**, one of Hong Kong’s main shopping and dining districts in **Kowloon**, specifically at **iSQUARE on Nathan Road**.[1] If you want, I can also try to distinguish whether this is the same place as other similarly named Thai/boat-noodle restaurants in Hong Kong, since the search results show a few naming overlaps.
Here’s a ranked list of five highly regarded Thai restaurants in Hong Kong: 1. **Samsen** — Known for excellent boat noodles, grilled meats, and northern Thai dishes; locations in Sheung Wan and Wan Chai. 2. **Chachawan** — Popular Soho spot serving bold, modern Isan-inspired Thai food and creative cocktails. 3. **Saffron** — Refined Thai dining at Banyan Tree Spa Sanctuary in Repulse Bay, with an elegant setting and traditional dishes. 4. **Thai Basil** — A reliable upscale option at Pacific Place, offering polished interpretations of classic Thai cuisine. 5. **Ying Thai** — A well-loved Causeway Bay restaurant praised for authentic, generously spiced Thai dishes at moderate prices. Restaurant rankings are subjective, and openings, locations, and menus can change, so it’s worth checking availability before visiting.
